What OK Rummy is
OK Rummy is a focused rummy app for Android. The product is built around a single card family - the standard 13-card Indian rummy deck - and a single brand voice that does not switch identity mid-session. The app exposes two table formats: Points rummy, where each deal settles to a published rupee value, and Deals rummy, where a fixed number of deals (commonly two or three) is played before the table closes. The exact published values are pinned to every table in the lobby.
OK Rummy is not a multi-app shell. The lobby lists rummy tables, a current-tournaments panel, the player's wallet and the responsible-use settings. There is no secondary store of unrelated games inside the same app shell, and the brand mark on every screen is OK Rummy.
Install path
OK Rummy is distributed as a single APK file. The first-party access surface is the Install App button below; tapping it routes through the verified OK Rummy access surface at /Login/playnow. The same button is repeated in the header, the body, the footer and (on small screens) the persistent CTA at the bottom of the viewport.
- Open this product profile on the Android device where you intend to install.
- Tap Install App. The Android system begins the download and displays the source on the install confirmation screen.
- If the system blocks the install, follow the four-step path in /setup/ to allow installs from this source for the current session only.
- Once the install completes, open the OK Rummy app and confirm the 18+ and play-responsibly screen before reaching the lobby.
Tables and rules
The Points and Deals tables in OK Rummy follow the published 13-card rules. A Points table settles each hand for a fixed rupee value (commonly ₹0.10 or ₹1 per point, capped at 80 points for a single hand). A Deals table plays a fixed number of deals, with the chip leader at the end of the last deal declared the table winner. The lobby shows the deal count, the entry value, the maximum number of players and the table's house rule for dropped or invalid declarations.
Tournaments are surfaced in a separate panel. The same rummy rules apply, but the table settles to a published prize pool instead of a per-deal rupee value. Free and paid tournaments are labelled; the entry fee and the prize pool are both shown on the tournament card before the table opens.
Wallet, deposits and withdrawals
OK Rummy uses an in-app wallet. Deposits follow the published welcome offer schedule (₹100, ₹500, ₹1,000 tiers with separate bonus, Gullak cash and fantasy voucher components). Withdrawals are processed to the same method used for the deposit, and the support team can pause a withdrawal on request while identity checks complete. The wallet is shown in the lobby header.
Account safety
The OK Rummy account is tied to the verified mobile number used at first launch. The app uses one-time password verification on new devices; if a second device signs in, the first device is signed out and the player receives an SMS confirmation. Password resets are processed through the support chat at /contact/.
Responsible use
OK Rummy is restricted to players aged 18 and above. The first launch screen asks for age and play-responsibly confirmation before the lobby is reached; the same reminder is pinned to every session start. In-app settings expose deposit limits, session timers and self-exclusion. Players in restricted states should review the eligibility list in /legal/ before depositing.
Support can pause or close the account on written request. The pause is reversible within 30 days; a closure is permanent and the remaining wallet balance is settled before the closure takes effect.
What OK Rummy is not
OK Rummy is not a slot or table-game app, not a fantasy sports app and not a multi-app shell. The app does not switch identity mid-session; the brand mark on every screen is OK Rummy, the support team replies as the OK Rummy team, and the responsible-use rules in the in-app settings are the same rules published on the /legal/ page. How a 13-card hand is presented
The two table formats share a single hand-presentation rule: a valid show leaves zero unmatched cards. The 13 cards split into pure sequences (three or four consecutive cards of the same suit, with the ace counted high or low but not both), pure sets (three or four cards of the same rank in different suits), and one optional printed-joker or wild-joker substitute per pure group. The two portrait frames below are reference photography of the rummy format - one shows how a 13-card hand is held in a fanned presentation, the other shows a closed deck resting on a baize edge beside a single hand at rest, but the cards in the photos are not from a live OK Rummy table and the photographs are illustrative only.
