Android setup for OK Rummy.

Before you start

Confirm three things before tapping the install button: the device is on Android 8.0 (Oreo) or above, the device has at least 100 MB of free storage, and the device is connected to a stable network. The OK Rummy APK is signed for arm64 devices and is delivered as a single installable file - there is no separate OBB or resource download.

Step 1 - Start the install

Open this product profile on the Android device where you intend to install. Tap Install App. The button is repeated in the header, the body, the footer and the persistent mobile CTA, so you can start the install from any scroll position. The button routes through the first-party OK Rummy access surface; the Android system then begins the download and shows the source on the install confirmation screen.

If your browser blocks the download with a "this type of file can harm your device" warning, that is the standard Android message for any APK outside Google Play. The install is still safe - confirm the source matches getokrummy.com and tap Download.

Step 2 - Allow this source

When Android shows "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source", that is the standard message. Tap Settings on that prompt; Android opens the Install unknown apps screen for the browser you used to download the file. Toggle Allow from this source on for that browser only. Return to the install screen and tap Install.

Step 3 - Open the app and confirm age

Once the install completes, the system shows the OK Rummy app icon in the launcher and on the home screen. Open the app. The first screen asks for an 18+ and play-responsibly confirmation. The lobby is reached only after that confirmation. The same reminder is pinned to every session start.

Troubleshooting - the four-step path

If the install does not complete, the cause is one of four things. Walk through the four steps in order; each step is short and reversible.

Common install errors, answered

Below are the four install errors that cover the vast majority of failed installs. Each answer points to the exact Android setting that needs to change.

"App not installed" after download

An older version of OK Rummy is still on the device. Uninstall the old app first, then re-run the install from the verified surface.

"For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source"

Open Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps, find the browser you used to download the APK, and toggle Allow from this source on for that browser only. Re-run the install.

Install finishes but the icon does not appear

Some Android launchers hide newly installed apps inside a folder. Open the App Drawer, search for OK Rummy, and drag the icon back to the home screen. The app is installed; only the launcher placement is missing.

"Parse error" or "There was a problem parsing the package"

The download was interrupted. Delete the partial file from Downloads, free at least 100 MB of storage, and re-download on a stable connection. APK files below the published size will not parse.

What the first launch looks like

The first launch opens with the OK Rummy brand mark on a dark cobalt background. The first screen asks for an 18+ and play-responsibly confirmation; the second screen asks for the mobile number; the third screen is a one-time password; the lobby is reached on the fourth screen. The whole flow takes about a minute on a stable network.

Network drops during the first launch

If the network drops between the first and fourth screens, the app remembers the last confirmed step and resumes from the next one when the connection is back. If the one-time password expires before it is entered, the "Resend code" button on the verification screen sends a new code; the previous code is invalidated automatically.

After install - first session checklist

• Open the app and confirm the 18+ and play-responsibly screen.
• Set a deposit limit before the first deposit. The setting is in Account → Responsible use.
• Enable one-time password verification for new device sign-ins.
• Pin the OK Rummy app to the home screen for one-tap access.
• Save the support link at /contact/ in your phone's notes for one-tap access from a browser.

What the install logs are useful for

If the support team needs to look at the install logs, the path is Settings → About phone → Software information → Build number. The build number is the only piece of information the team needs to confirm whether the device is on the supported list. The support chat at /contact/ can read the build number on request if you are unsure what to look for - the team can also talk you through the path in plain language.

Pre-install checklist

Before tapping Install App, confirm the device is on Android 8.0 or above, that the device has at least 100 MB of free storage and that the network connection is stable. The first two are checked in Settings → About phone; the third is hard to check on the device itself, but if the browser is loading other pages without delay, the connection is usually stable enough for a 38 MB download.

What if the install still fails?

Open the live support chat at /contact/. The support team can confirm whether the install is reaching the access surface, whether your device matches the published requirements and whether the APK signature is the current one. The session is private and the reply appears in the same chat window.
