The new prompt

Older Android versions showed a longer prompt with a global "allow unknown sources" toggle. Android 13 retired that toggle in favour of the per-app source permission. The new prompt is faster to read and the path it leads to is the same for every browser, so once a player has allowed the source for their browser, the next install from the same browser does not ask again.

On Android 13, the path is Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps. Find the browser you used to download the APK (Chrome, Samsung Internet, Mi Browser, Brave and so on) and toggle Allow from this source on. The toggle is per-app, not per-device; the next time you use a different browser, the system will ask again.
